Paperboy
Paperboy by Vince Vawter is about an 11-year-old boy living in Memphis in 1959 who throws the meanest fastball in town, but talking is a whole different ball game. He can barely say a word without stuttering, not even his own name.

A Boy and a Jaguar by Dr. Alan Rabinowitz
Alan loves animals, but the great cat house at the Bronx Zoo makes him sad. Why are they all alone in empty cages? Are they being punished? More than anything, he wants to be their champion—their voice—but he stutters uncontrollably.

Dr. Alan Rabinowitz, author of the just released children's book A Boy and A Jaguar, is one of the world's leading big cat experts, and has been called "The Indiana Jones of Wildlife Conservation" by TIME Magazine.
