(November 25, 2024) — The Stuttering Foundation, the first and largest nonprofit charitable organization in the world working toward the prevention and improved treatment of stuttering, revised its website, StutteringHelp.org, to focus on resources available to people who stutter, parents of children who stutter, and those who treat stuttering.
Founded in 1947, the Stuttering Foundation is recognized internationally for its trusted and current information, literature, digital content and online portal, reaching people in 7,761 cities in 168 countries across the world.
Resources, generally available for free, include:

- “I Stutter” ID card

Many resources have been translated into 46 languages by people who stutter. Materials are also available on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Pinterest, and in 16,571 libraries across the United States and Canada.
An E-catalog and product list are available for speech-language pathologists working with children and adults who stutter.
About the Stuttering Foundation
Malcolm Fraser, a successful businessman who struggled with stuttering, established the nonprofit Stuttering Foundation in 1947 and endowed it throughout his lifetime. The Foundation provides free online resources at StutteringHelp.org for people who stutter and their families, as well as support for research into the causes of stuttering.
