The Eastern Workshop: Using Cognitive Approaches with People Who Stutter  POSTPONED
 
Dates: June 15-20, 2020
 
Location: Boston
 
Objective: This one-week course will provide speech-language pathologists with an introduction to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in relation to the assessment and treatment of stuttering. Therapists will also be equipped to deliver Palin PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), an evidence based therapy programme for young children who stutter.

Objective: To provide speech-language pathologists with skills and practice to assess disfluency and to effectively treat stuttering in children and adolescents.

Designing Coursework and Clinical Experiences in the Nature & Treatment of Stuttering  POSTPONED

Objective: This four-day workshop will provide faculty and graduating doctoral students with practical strategies for developing undergraduate and graduate courses and clinical experiences in stuttering for students in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree programs.
