Actor Homer Gere has become the latest performer to disclose that he stutters. The 26-year-old is the son of Oscar-nominated actor Richard Gere and actor Carey Lowell, best known for her starring role on Law & Order from 1996 to 2001. He was raised in Pound Ridge, New York, and graduated from Brown University in 2024.

The Stuttering Foundation wishes to extend to the family of Mel Tillis their most sincere condolences and prayers at the news of the passing of the country music legend at age 85 on Sunday, November 19.
