Stuttering Foundation Celebrates National Stuttering Awareness Week with ‘75 Must-Use Resources’
Memphis, Tenn. (May 13, 2024) — For more than 75 years, the Stuttering Foundation, the first and the largest nonprofit charitable organization in the world working toward the prevention and improved treatment of stuttering, has provided free online resources, services and support to those who stutter and their families, as well as support for research into the causes of stuttering.
From its library of content spanning more than seven decades, the Foundation has compiled a list of “75 Must-Use Resources for the Stuttering Community [1]”—available free on its website: StutteringHelp.org [2].
“We’ve always had a keen interest in providing the best and most up-to-date information and help available for the prevention of stuttering in young children and the most effective treatment available for teenagers and adults,” said Stuttering Foundation President Jane Fraser.
Today, through its website (StutteringHelp.org [2]) and social media channels, the Foundation offer scores of current resources free to people in more than 135 countries around the world.
Among the myriad resources available on its website, the Stuttering Foundation’s most popular content represents a mix of time-tested favorites and newer innovations:

- Answers for Employers brochure [4] – answering frequent questions from employers received by the Foundation each year.
