Oasis Reunion Tour
The music world was shocked with news of the sudden announcement of an Oasis reunion tour beginning in the summer of 2025. Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher ended their feud and made the surprise announcement that rocked Oasis fans the world over. It will mark the first time the brothers will have played together since 2009, after which 15 years of an antagonistic and bitter relationship followed. The tour will start in July 2025 with stadium concerts in England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland. A subsequent world tour will follow in 2026. Because of such popular demand, it is likely that many more dates will be added to their initial summer 2025 tour in the British Isles.
Noel and Liam Gallagher, Manchester natives of Irish immigrant parents, have buried the hatchet. Thirty years ago Oasis' chart-topping 1994 album Definitely Maybe turned the Gallagher brothers into stars and launched the new "Britpop" era. The band cemented its legacy with massive hits such as "Wonderwall [1]", "Don't Look Back in Anger", and "Champagne Supernova". Over the 30 years, Oasis has sold more than 75 million records worldwide.
Liam Gallagher is the band's lead singer while Noel is the guitarist/songwriter and sometimes singer.
Noel Gallagher was the feature of an article titled Noel Gallagher of Oasis Rocks On [2] in the Celebrity Corner [3] section of the Stuttering Foundation magazine a few years ago, and the response from its publication in the magazine and subsequent online publication was astounding. People who stutter from all over the globe contacted the Stuttering Foundation with a sense of pride that Noel Gallagher is a person who stutters. His heartfelt statements about his past stuttering and years of intensive speech therapy put a human face on the speech problem.
On the morning of the reunion announcement, both Gallagher brothers simultaneously tweeted, "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned." They also tweeted, "The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be television."
The stuttering community is grateful that Noel Gallagher has never been silent about his stuttering.
